This is the initial version of Whisper Street, a simple urban fantasy from the 1990s TTRPG. I heard about the One-Page RPG Jam a few days ago and started drafting something for it. I have fond memories of playing old White Wolf RPGs (back in their 2nd / 3rd editions in the '90s) and I thought it fit the theme well. Lately I have been exploring games with mechanics that blend with narrative (like Ironsworn and Blades in the Dark) so I tried to make something in that vein. At the same time, I wanted to keep closer to character description based on attributes + skills, as found in those '90s games.

Although there is no restriction about playing supernatural / non-human characters, it is assumed that player characters are usually human (sometimes with a special power). These are competent people, but not superheroes. They know some secrets hidden from the world at large and get entangled in weird stories because of it.
